Type III Diamond Plate

MIL-DTL-15562G Type III Diamond Plate - Specified for insulating switchboard matting and sheet floor covering, and designed for use around electrical apparatus and circuits. This specification is approved for use by the Department of the Navy and is available for use by all departments and agencies of the Department of Defense. Dimex MIL-DTL-15562G Switchboard Matting and sheet floor covering meets the additional property specifications for performance of Oxygen Bomb Aging, Sulfuric Acid, and Ultraviolet Light Exposure.

Type III Diamond Plate: (3/16" thickness)
The Type III diamond plate surface is slip-resistant, fire-retardant, electrically insulating matting and is installed as a portable runner in front of equipment and on workbenches. This runner is manufactured in gray or green. The MIL-DTL-15562 Type III runner is used by the Department of Defense and in many industrial and commercial applications.

Dielectric Test Voltage | 30,000 VAC
Proof Tested Over Entire Surface At | 20,000 VAC
Recommended Maximum Use Voltage | 3,000 VAC

Dimex Switchboard Matting (MIL) is available in Type I Marbleized, Welding Thread, Type II Smooth, and Type III Diamond Plate.
